Welcome to FLORENCE, AL. and the UNIVERSITY OF
NORHT ALABAMA! Truly, it is one of the loveliest settings for a
campus in the south. Don't forget to check out or new mascots,
Leo and Una. I
hope and pray you are ready for a great year at UNA in 2007-08. You
will find that so much happens so quickly that you can lose track of
time. But let me challenge you to make time for God and find a church
home while you are at UNA. I would love to have you visit our
college ministry. Our church is praying God will send us college
students who are committed to Jesus Christ and to FBC. I am praying
that God will do some awesome things in our group this year and I
invite you to be a part our College Ministry known as 737 Ministries!
There have been many
students impacted by FBC College Ministry. Amanda Matson has served
as a missionary in Mexico for several years. We’ve had several
students go into the military and our serving our country today.
Jason & Alissa Anderson are special members of FBC to me because they
met in our college ministry. This year we’ve had students serving as
summer missionaries in Florida, Washington, Kenya and other places as
well. We have seen students from Africa to Japan; from California to
Missouri; from Mobile to Huntsville: and even from right here in
Florence. Students from nearly every state have been involved in our
college ministry. It is truly a diverse group and a variety of
students that make up the College Ministry of First Baptist Church,
and everyone is welcome!

for many college students
